A word from

the President

2025 sounds like a year of Vintage Grand Cru for the Vébron International Film Festival.

That's it!

Exceptional guests, high-flying jury, team of volunteers at the Top, all that remains is to hope for perfect weather and enthusiastic festival-goers.

The program presented to you here will, I hope, delight you. The energy we have put into it is so that this 38th edition is a real moment of magic, emotions and shared pleasures.

Opening the proposals made in this week's program, I have a warm thought for our Vice-President, an eminent member of the Selection Committee, Eric Lumay, who passed away in October last year.

Like me, he met the Festival a good twenty years ago and has since wanted to contribute to its success from year to year.

I am sure that from where he is he loves what we have prepared for you and that he wants everyone to have fun, enjoy seeing the excellent selection of films and exchange at all goes on the Place de la Mairie, in front of the Temple, at the river or everywhere in this beautiful village and in these beautiful Cévennes that he loved to photograph so many times.

His smile and his look will continue to brighten up this week of celebration in the memory of those who had the chance to meet him.

Finally, allow me to thank the Mayor of Vébron, all the institutional and private partners, as well as all the volunteers and all the shadow people who have worked and are still working.

A big thank you also to all the guests and members of the Jury for agreeing to participate in the success of the oldest cultural event in Lozère 200%, or even 300% volunteer.
